Baby shower - Joshua & Jenifer

"This feels like a dream" 

that was the beginning of Jenifer's testimony. She said the celebration of her baby shower felt like a dream because, for the longest time, she thought she wouldn't be able to carry a baby, and had resolved to adopt a baby. But God, who writes the most beautiful love stories, is writing hers and everyone is in love with the storyline. 

Jenifer and Joshua are definitely one of the sweetest couples but they are also one of the funniest couples I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Throughout the day, they carried themselves with such grace (though they were very tired and very hungry) and they joked with each other to keep the other giggling during portraits! It was just the cutest thing to see. They also sat with me during lunch just so I wouldn't have to sit alone and counted me as one of the guests and gave me one of the return gifts! Just the sweetest!

They are also the very first photographer couple I'm photographing! And they met at a photography competition! Isn't that the coolest ever? 

Praise, praise God for today! I had dreams for the portraits that I wanted to do for Jenifer but I wasn't sure if I would be able to because of the timeline and the second reason being, I would have to clear out the stage to take pictures. I don't think I even prayed about the concerns, they were just thoughts, but praise God He made a way for all my portrait dreams to come true!

Huge shoutout to Joshua and Jenifer for being absolute champs! They were ready to do anything I requested, including clear the stage for pictures. 

God also took care of every single detail to make this day one of the smoothest and most beautiful days. From all the transport to the health (I was recovering from a fever), from the gear to everything, God made today so beautiful and such a blessing. 

Jenifer was right - today was a dream. And I'm honored to have been a part of it.
