Family Portraits, ECR - The Lamech family

Ah, today was such a sweet day! This sweet family is unique but goodness how co-operative they were!

Aunty and uncle are both 60+, Patima is 97 and their fur baby is 15 (as Jebitha put it, he's living on love) but through the entire shoot, every single request was met with a smile and a very willing yes! 

Despite their age and everything that comes with it, they were all in! Patima pulled off a cowboy hat swag pose, uncle gave us one of the best laughs turning everyone's fake laughs to actual laughs, aunty was kind, warm and said yes to anything I asked and Jebitha was very so-operative. She gladly sat on the floor, stepped into plants and blindly trusted me with everything. She was also very respectful through it all! 

Praise God for making this shoot happen, for making all the conditions favourable for us and for making the evening perfect! I was at the location early and noticed that the very spot I was going to use had a few cars come and go and if it were to keep happening, we wouldn't be able to shoot there.

There was also a watchman anna who looked like he didn't like us very much. I prayed that the location would be clear and that no one would have a problem with us using it and God answered all my prayers! Praise God for the beautiful beautiful golden light, for making today possible and perfect!
