Rite of Passage - Shanaya

If I had to describe this day, it would be that it was intentionally handcrafted. Niti and Sunil went above and beyond to make sure their daughter's day was a dream come true, and it truly was one!

Chepauk stadium is special to any cricket lover. But getting to celebrate one's birthday celebrated at a room at the Madras Cricket Club that has a splendid view of the Chepauk stadium, plus having that room be filled with all of your favourite people is just so special. Niti and Sunil made sure Shanaya's milestone birthday would be just that - special, unique and filled with love and it was so beautiful.

It was an evening filled with love. Every guest was greeted with a hug and a huge smile. Sunil always has the best games and the game they had for the evening had everyone laughing and smiling and of course involved tosses (cricket lovers!)

Every part of the event had the most special words for and about Shanaya. My favourite of the entire evening was when Shanaya's grandad reminded her and all of us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Each of us is unique. God didn't make 100 of us but just one. And He loves us and has a plan for us. It's the most beautiful reminder and tied the evening with a big bow. 

And when everyone thought everything was done, Shanaya's friends surprised her with a guitar and getting to see her smile was the best! 

Praise God for all His provisions! From the random stranger who kindly guided me to the venue (this place is massive!), the guest who invited me to sit at the table with them, to the security anna who helped me with the auto when I left late that night, God's provisions and His grace is just as amazing as always.
