Rainy Solo Portraits, The Secretariat park- Jeba

I have said it before,  and will say it so many times over- it is such a joy to serve clients who fully trust me. This location was far from her house (like really far), it was raining (we had rain all day on the forecast) and she had to come alone. But Jeba only had one thing to say- "Abby you are the professional. If you think it will work, I'm all in". She said it and she meant it. I hoped we could work around the rain, I knew the forecast said there was an hour long break coming (but I had my doubts because forecasts are sometimes wrong), and I knew if we pushed, then maybe we could actually do it. 

But then I realised, I can't do this on my own and I prayed so hard that God would give us clear skies and God was so gracious and answered my prayer.  We couldn't have done any of these if God had not held back the rain for us.

I am so glad we had the shoot because it was one of the most beautiful rainy day shoots I have ever done. Jeba was such a champ! She was joyful throughout and trusted me completely. It was a beautiful afternoon! (yes afternoon. We shot these images at two p.m, haha!)
