August 22 2020. My very first shoot. It was also the longest shoot with the most wardrobe changes. The shoot was six hours long and I made Neil bring almost his entire wardrobe because I didn't have a clue what exactly I wanted or what I was doing. All I knew was I wanted someone to photograph and Neil graciously agreed and did everything I asked of him. August 22 2020 is such a fond memory and I'm so glad it happened, because it was the beginning of a very beautiful journey.
199 shoots later, I met Neil for a shoot again, and this time I actually knew what I was doing and what exactly I wanted. 40 mins later, we were wrapping up and I am incredibly proud and happy of the pictures I shot at this session (Not something I could say 2 years ago).
200th shoot and every second of it was just beautiful. This session was everything I dreamed it would be. Open fields, glowy light, tall beautiful grass and the best company. Neil has seen me pick up a camera for the very first time in college, and I've seen him play in college for the first time. We started our journeys together, and we've seen each other grow. This friendship is such gift because we've supported, encouraged each other and pushed the other to grow. Doing my 200th shoot for him was both a privilege and an honor. God has been amazing through the years, He made everything perfect for the shoot. Praise God for everything!
These pictures are a few of my many favourites! Enjoy scrolling :)
