It is never lost on me what a privilege it is to be photographing families who value the hours of effort I put into each shoot and who put in just as much effort as me. It is also never lost on me what a huge blessing it is, to get to serve joyful, trusting families who love each other so much that their love and joy is contagious and fills the air and this shoot was such a good reminder of that.

This was such a good day! This sweet family was so joyful, trusting and they were all in! They were ready to do anything, and I mean anything at all - even lying down on the grass despite the drizzling rain. They were so dedicated to the shoot that they had even practised the pose at home. ( I know right?! Just the sweetest thing!) We started the shoot with wide smiles and the smiles only got wider. This beautiful family did not let anything take away from the joy that they didn't mind the drizzling rain one bit (and it rained for almost the entire shoot).

One of my favourite things about getting to photograph families, is I get a front row seat to their personalities and how they treat each other. And let me tell you, the entire time I was with them, I kept going, "Awwww that's so sweet!" (I was talking to myself, of course so no one actually heard me, haha). The boys were such gentlemen- from fixing their mumma's saree pleats to making sure to put back the bench (we had moved it for the pictures), they were the best!

Aunty and uncle were absolute sweethearts. They had only come home that morning after a trip and despite being so tired and sleepy, they had such wide smiles and a warm attitude. I would've never guessed how tired they actually were because they were so enthusiastic and involved in the shoot!

Aunty made us all vada to eat after the shoot too, though she only had a few hours after reaching home. Just the sweetest!

It was such a good day and it was extra special because I get to have this family 'in' my life. Aunty and uncle have known me ever since I was 3 because their boys, me and my brother all went to the same school, we were each other's classmates and I've been friends with their younger son since L.K.G.

Praise God for a beautiful beautiful day, for all love and joy and all the conversations. Praise God for making everything absolutely perfect!
