Family portraits at Madhavaram Botanical Garden- The Joshua Ragland Family

I once heard someone say that to be a family photographer is to grow with the family, and oh how true that is! I met this sweet family 10 months ago when baby Nathan was a 3 month old. I've done family portraits for them when Nathan was 3 months old and 5 months old; I've photographed his dedication, his birthday and now their family portraits with Nathan as a 13 month old. And what an honor and a privilege it has been. Getting to see Nathan grow and become his own little person has been so heartwarming. But the best part is how sweet the family is. They have always been soft-spoken, wam, joyful, sweet and so caring. Regardless of where we meet or how busy they are, all our conversations have been consistently the same and to have that with a family is such a privilege. 

This evening was just so beautiful. Nathan's scrunchy nose smiles and his awe with birds of all kinds was just the best. Angeline and Joshua were the absolute best at getting him to laugh and their tricks worked like magic! Such a beautiful joyful evening and a perfect ending to 'Nathan's first year portraits'. Praise the Lord for the most perfect evening. 

God willing I have so many more with them but until then, enjoy scrolling through some of my many favourites from the day.
