Amidst the "hiiii"s and "how are you?"s, the family congratulated me and I didn't remember why until they reminded me. I had told Jeba weeks ago that her family shoot would be my 150th shoot and this sweet family remembered! And they got me a box of chocolates to celebrate the occasion! Oh my word! My heart just melted!

There were valleys and trees and I was on the terrace of my dreams with a wonderful family and it was just the besttt. This family is sweet, soft spoken, so fun and such champs to hang out with. They weren't just ready to pose but were also ready to do anything that was needed and were right by side helping me hide the cloth lines and the wires on the wall. There was laughter and giggles and a lot of smiles. The sweetest is definitely Amachi- 84 but a 16 year old at heart and great at posing! The best part about the entire shoot was getting to witness how much this family loves her.

When the day began, Jeba and I were both super nervous about the weather - it was veryyyy cloudy and it even rained a bit. I was praying for "clear skies" and "glowy light" and we had HUGEEEEE clouds in the sky. We had a patch of clear sky and darker clouds and then clouds that were grey and blackkk and thank God He sent those hugeee clouds because if it wasn't for those clouds providing the shade I needed, this shoot would not have gone the way it went. Personally, I learnt from this shoot to pray for what God thinks is the best and not for what I want.

Jeba and sweet family, thank you guys so much for having me. It was such an honor being your photographer. It was a really good Sunday. Praise God for everything.
