Terrace Portrait Session-Ramya

It's always the little things. Sure grand gestures are fun but it's the little things that melt your heart and this shoot was full of them. Ramya is getting married in a couple of days and timetables are hectic, yet she decided that she needed to hold her world in pictures and squeezed in a photoshoot. While waiting on one of her friends, Ramya didn't ask her to rush over but rather to come safely. We were in the middle of pictures when the friend arrived and Ramya ran over to her, held her and said, "Breathe, catch your breath, then we'll resume". So grateful I got to witness the little things that revealed what a precious person Ramya was.

When I prayed for this shoot, for the first time ever, I prayed for cloudy skies. I badly needed the overcast sky because only then would I be able to use this tree in the background of my pictures. And the King of kings and Lord of lords heard and answered my prayer and gave me exactly what I needed. The sky was full of huge clouds giving us beautiful soft light. It really is unbelievable that my prayer would matter but as the song says, "If it matters to you, then it matters to the Master".
