First Birthday Celebration- Lekha

I walked into this house thinking I was there to photograph a birthday party. What I actually walked into was a celebration of love- how much the sweet birthday girl was loved, how much the family loved each other and how warm and welcoming they are to guests. From the time the decoration was being set up, to the time everyone was ready to leave, this family stood shoulder to shoulder and did everything together. It was all "ours" and it was wonderful to witness. Thulasi and Raghuraman, thank you so much for having me. It was such a pleasure being your photographer. Lekha, sweet girl, have a wonderful and amazing life full of the life and joy your smiles and giggles bring. You will always be your Amma's "Kannama".

P.s I have got to say this. Thulasi and Raghuraman's place is a teensy bit far from where I live and I was extremely nervous about my ride back (we all know how Ola and Uber work, right?) But praise God, He took care of it, a piece of cake! And remember how I said they stood shoulder to shoulder in everything? I mean everythingggg. They were so kind that they helped me with packing my gear and then treated me to a ton of birthday snacks :)
