Kani and Anand

Maternity session in the rain! "Thunderstorm" to be more accurate. Chennai has a red alert but we're here chillin, lol. Kani is a friend of mine from school and I've known her since we were 5 and it was sooo good to see her after a really long time. The last time we met was at her reception and before that it was when we wrote our last 12th board exams. So "long time" is in fact "years".

Today was just so beautiful. We had beautiful light and the rain made the garden so lush! Kani and her husband were so sweet that the entire shoot was super chill, much fun and just gorgeous. It was such an honor to be a friend's maternity photographer. Praise God for every single thing.
