Indoor Maternity Portraits- Julius & Leena

I always say that it is an honor to be someone's photographer and I don't think anything else can explain what I mean more than this session. This sweet couple's journey to this pregnancy is full of God's grace and mercy. Julius and Leena have been trying for a baby since they got married- they had two ecotopian pregnancies and a failed IVF attempt after which they surrendered everything to God completely and abandoned all efforts. While consulting a doctor for another check up, the doctor advised and encouraged them to try IVF again and so they did and praise God this time it was a success!

It's been 13 years since their wedding. 13 years of trying to have a baby, 13 years whole years that was n nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster and having doctors tell you that it is impossible to conceive ever again but God filled those 13 years with a loving and a very supportive family and sent them the right people at the right time to pray for them and to guide them and to encourage them to not give up.

This precious baby is not only their rainbow baby but is the entire family's and to get to be the photographer to document this phase of their life is such an honor. They welcomed me into their home to do this session which is more special because this is the place that is full of memories and now this is another to the list. The day was beautiful and the entire time I spent there was perfect.

Julius and Leena's story teaches us all that God never lets go and things will happen in His Time. It may not be what we wanted but when God does something, it is grand, it is good and it is far more than anything we could've ever imagined.
