I am privileged to be able to serve families who I absolutely love hanging out with. You could just leave me with them and I would be at home! Anytime I get to photograph one of these sweet families, I truly look forward to meeting them more than photographing them and this sweet family is one of those amazing families. They are always so sweet and warm and this evening was such an adventure. The innocence of the sweet youngest child had me laughing the whole time we were together. And he did not mean to be funny, it just was, haha!

One of the things that made us all crack up was this one pose where I had asked the family to hold hands and walk to the beach so I could take a back shot and Rio had his back to the beach. So I went up to him and I told him that he needed to face the other way and he looked at me and said, "I'm going to walk backward to the beach." The running joke after that was, "you'll never run out of poses when Rio is involved in the shoot!" Amidst the many giggles and laughter, we had a wonderful time together and it was like an evening spent with friends.

One thing that I have got to mention is that this family had a wedding in their family two days before shoot. The bride is really close to them so they were all fully involved in the wedding but despite all the busy schedules and chaos that comes with any wedding, they were fully involved with planning the shoot. They came to the shoot right after the last wedding event (so you can imagine how tired they were after 4 days of wedding stuff + the hours of car ride) but they were so full of joy and energy that you would never know how tired they were. And they actually made the shoot on time, despite the location being close to two hours away and having to turn around because they forgot a phone, they still made it on time!

I am so very grateful for clients like this sweet family who are so respectful of everyone's time, so dedicated and cooperative and so joyful and warm. They are the absolute best and I'm honored that I get to give them their whole world in photographs.

Praise God for this wonderful evening and for making everything perfect!
