Couple Portraits, Semmozhi Poonga- Jemie and Melvin

I always love telling the story of how my journey as a photographer began. But this was the very first time that I met someone who told me, "Oh I remember you in college taking pictures of everyone!" Haha, you can imagine my surprise! 

Jemie is a junior of mine from college. I met her in college and it was such a pleasure to get to see and photograph her again. But what I didn't know was that her fiancè had also been in the same college as us, and in the same batch as me! And somehow Melvin knew me but the photoshoot was the first time I was meeting him. It was so very pleasantly surprising to meet someone who had seen me take pictures when I first started taking them and now to do a photoshoot for them as a professional photographer. 

Melvin and Jemie are so sweet with each other! Their warmth, their trust, quiet reassurances and making sure the other person is good was just so heartwarming to witness. I get to photograph their engagement tomorrow and it is such an honor. 

Praise God for making today happen and for making today perfect! Praise God for all His protection and provision.
