This shoot...in one sentence, would've been a disaster if it wasn't for the Lord. Seriously. It's because of God's Grace that we had an amazing day and everyone went home safe. So we were supposed to meet at St.Thomas Mount, right? You would think that a 24 year old who has lived all her life in Chennai would know that there are two entrances to the Mount and obviously everyone uses the second entrance for photoshoots. But nope, not me. neither did I know that there were two entrances, nor did I figure out, until it was too late that I had spent a good 20-25 minutes scouting and waiting at the wrong entrance for like an hour! Usually I meet my clients 15 minutes before the shoot begins but for this shoot we had planned to meet 30 mins before and it turned out to be a very good thing because we spent all 30 minutes trying to find each other. Oh and did I mention that we don't get cell service there? Made the search a whole lot easier, lol! I was internally panicking so bad! What if it takes forever for us to find each other and we lose all the light and the 60 mins shoot ends up being 30 mins or worse we don't get to shoot at all? I was panicking and praying and Praise God we found each other, perfectly in time for us to have amazing light and gorgeous flowers! Once we finished laughing at the fiasco that I had just caused, we started taking pictures and it was the besttttt! The location was a natural parking spot - meaning, it was a empty space and people just parked all their vehicles there but there was just enough space for us to squeeze in, there were these beautiful flowers everywhere and the sun was setting at the perfect spot...ah it was magical! These sweet girls are best friends and so cute! They had the best smiles and laughter and
were such champs! They trusted me so much and I'm so glad they did!
When we were done and said our goodbyes and these sweet girls left and I was waiting on a Uber only to have a mini heart attack because apparently the spot where I was wasn't the best spot for pickup. I don't think I have ever had so many autos cancel on me but Praise God, I was right next to an auto stand and God sent a sweet gentleman who generously offered to drop me and not rip me off.
Like I said, if it wasn't for God, it would've been a disaster. But Thank God it was a beautiful day and everyone and everything was safe and perfect.
Andddd our location!
